For that amount of money tou can buy a shop quality bike and a trainer for when the weather is bad. I have one of my bikes set up on a trainer full time and enjoy that more then any stationary bike. Find a nice fitness or hybrid bike on the local ebay or craig's list, usually a used trainer goes for $20 or so. Exercise bikes are a lot more bearable when you relate them to actually riding outdoors.
