Upright Exercise Bikes

Question: What's the best value for an upright exercise bike below $1000 brand name and model, why is it the best value?

I agree with wle, check the local Ebay and Craig's list for a good one for cheap. You will find them in Goodwill and Salvation Army stores for $10-$25 and they don't even looked used. For that amount of money you can buy a very nice bike and a trainer to put it on. I use a old mountain bike on a $80 trainer and it works great. The biggest problem with them is it's so boring, at lest the bicycle will allow you to enjoy the great outdoors when Spring arrives. If I didn't enjoy ridding a real bike so much it would be hard to put the time in on an exercise bike.

Good grief every other yard sale has an exercise machine for $25 no one wants them just go to a yard sale half the time they can;t even give them away wle
